The Beni Mrirt Puddle Moroccan Wool Rug was hand-woven by Berber weavers in Morocco. It is a unique, artistic piece that combines Berber weaving tradition with the language of contemporary abstraction.
On the rug, we see irregular, varied forms in shades of warm honey, golden ochre, and deep terracotta spilling freely across a cream background, like puddles reflecting the colors of a setting sun. The fluid contours and soft transitions between patches of color create a composition full of movement and life. The varied pile height gives the rug's surface a distinct, tangible texture. Some forms literally rise above the background, creating a three-dimensional, sculptural effect.
The warm, earthy color palette fits perfectly into boho, wabi-sabi, or organic modern interiors—anywhere that values nature, imperfection, and authenticity.
The rug is made of soft, high-quality sheep's wool. The dense pile is extremely pleasant to the touch and ensures comfort for years to come.
