Moroccan rugs: RIAD loom online store opens a showroom
Share
Moroccan rugs are more than just a simple interior design element. At RIAD loom, we have always believed that a well-chosen wool rug is a piece of decor that gives a space a unique character and can completely transform it.
Now, we want to make exploring our collection an even simpler and more special experience. That is why we are opening a physical showroom in Gdańsk, where you will be able to touch our hand-woven rugs from Morocco and find the model that perfectly fits your interior.

From an online Moroccan shop to a showroom in Gdańsk
RIAD loom was born out of a fascination with Morocco, Moroccan craftsmanship, and beautiful rugs that combine tradition with timeless aesthetics. From the beginning, our goal has been to bring unique, hand-woven rugs closer to those who value natural materials, modern trends, and a conscious approach to interior design.
Until now, our collection has been available exclusively online. The online store allows for convenient discovery of different models, comparison of patterns, and choosing rugs from anywhere in Poland, or even Europe. However, we know that for products like hand-woven rugs, photos do not always capture all their qualities. We have received many inquiries: “Where can we see your rugs?”.
That is why we have decided to take the next step and are opening the Riad Loom showroom at ul. Łąkowa 28/2 in Gdańsk.
This is an important moment for our brand's development. We want to create a space where you can take your time to examine our collection, feel the texture of individual rugs, drink some coffee, and calmly choose the right piece.
Moroccan natural wool rugs: Get to know the RIAD loom collection
At RIAD loom, we offer Moroccan rugs made of 100% natural sheep's wool, including mainly Beni Mrirt models. We value them for their exceptionally high quality, softness, characteristic pile, and dimensional textures. To us, these are rugs that provide a "WOW" effect.
In our collection, you will find models of various sizes and patterns. Moroccan rugs from RIAD loom feature compositions that are more or less expressive, inspired by geometric motifs and nature. We have shades of cream and beige, as well as bold oranges and greens. Our rugs are characterized by timeless patterns that will work well in both modern and more classic interiors.
In our showroom, you will be able to discover details in our Moroccan rugs that give each model its individual character. You will take a closer look, touch the wool, and see how the material looks in reality.

What drives us at Riad Loom? Craftsmanship, natural materials, and timeless interiors
At Riad Loom, we believe that in an age of mass production, unique interiors are created by items that combine aesthetics with authenticity. The hand-woven Moroccan rugs in our offer have a unique character that stems from both craft tradition and the use of natural materials.
Moroccan rugs have been created for generations with daily use in mind, and their design is strongly linked to local culture and tradition. Depending on the region, production techniques, and the type of rug, they may vary in structure, ornamentation, and finishing.
100% sheep's wool plays an important role. Wool rugs possess a depth that cannot be fully captured in a photo. Natural wool is a material widely valued for its resilience, thermal insulation properties, and pleasant-to-the-touch structure. Its appearance changes depending on the direction of the fibers and the falling light, and a rug made of real wool becomes more attractive over time instead of wearing out like synthetic materials.
When choosing a hand-woven rug, we decide on more than just another accessory for our interior. Subtle differences in structure and finish are part of the charm of handicrafts and emphasize their uniqueness.
A rug can become the natural center of a room's arrangement: defining a lounge area in the living room, warming up a minimalist bedroom, or breaking the simplicity of modern furniture. At RIAD loom, we look for exactly this combination: Moroccan craftsmanship, distinct textures, and an aesthetic that remains relevant regardless of changing trends.
